Easing the Collaboration Curse for Access

Abstract

As things can be achieved collectively that cannot be achieved individually, the cult of collaboration has become ubiquitous and reached the knowledge work where uninterrupted concentration is the principal virtue and where the collaboration interruptions, meetings, emails, calls become a curse. This item highlights and raises awareness of factors and issues that can harm collaboration outcomes and shows a cloud based approach to curse free collaboration between system administrators and service developers.

Description

This item is in the form of a 5 minute video created from a PowerPoint slide deck and narration originally presented as a 5 minute ignite talk on October 6, 2016 at Access Conference 2016, Fredericton, NB, Canada. Two versions of the video are included, one with captions and one without.
