| dc.description.abstract |
Our Intention is to provide an account of Alfred Schutz's phenomenological investigations of intersubjective understanding (Verstchen) as it occurs in the life-world (Lebenswelt). After finding the interference by analogy and the behaviorist positions wanting, we develop Schutz's position as an alternative to account for this problem and find that he successfully avoids the difficulties and pitfalls associated with these traditional formulations.
| en_US |
