Abstract

This thesis explores the phenomenological characteristics of Śaṅkarācārya's Advaita philosophy, using two minor works attributed to him by tradition, namely, Vivekacūḍāmaṇi and Aparokṣānubhūti. The Transcendental Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl is used as the basic model of comparison.
