Abstract

Pytheas was a Greek explorer, astronomer and geographer. He circumnavigated Britain around 330 BC and reached Thule, which is presumed to be either Iceland or Norway. The author provides historical snippets and modern day pictures of the places and locations that Pytheas visited.
