Time Estimation as a Determinant of the Practice Effect in Tachistoscopic Reconstruction and Choice Reaction Time

Abstract

<p>Two experiments, involving 70 subjects, were performed which support the conclusion that it is the experience that subjects have with a regular foreperiod which is in large part responsible for the improvement with practice that is found in tachistoscopic recognition and in reaction time tasks.</p>
