dc.description.abstract<p>The modes of disintegration of four erbium isotopes will be discussed.</p> <p>The simple decays of Er163, Er165, and Er169 have been investigated experimentally using scintillation spectrometer techniques. The disintegration of the fourth isotope, Er171, was analyzed using the high resolution beta-ray spectrometer. On the basis of the energy, intensity, and conversion coefficient measurements of the transitions in Tm171, an energy level scheme for this nucleus is proposed and interpreted according to the unified nuclear model.</p> <p>In addition, a set of experiments will be discussed which were carried out in order to calibrate the high resolution beta-ray spectrometer for gamma-ray intensity measurements. Finally, the already published results of an investigation of the decay of Pm149 will be included.</p>en_US
