dc.description.abstract<p>The advances in gas turbine technoloqy in recent years has focussed attention on problems associated with the attainment of high work output. This led to the consideration of high work output per blade, and thereby to the consideration of designing the blades with large turning angles. The blade's profile, pressure distribution, pressure gradients and velocity triangles are drawn for each set of blades. The theoretical performance of the blades has been examined over a range of incidence angles from zero to nine degrees.</p>en_US
