Abstract

The following intellectual exercise has as its purpose an evaluation of Antony Flew's neo-positivist falsifiability challenge to the meaningfulness of religious language and Ian Ramsey's attempt to meet that challenge via the use of models and qualifiers. The work: of other philosophers such as Frederick Ferré, William Austin, John Hick and Ronald Hepburn is also related to the points discussed by Flew and Ramsey
