Abstract: This thesis is an attempt to study geographically a township located in south-central Ontario. Prime concerns in the report are- (1) To find the extent the distribution of people and the land use are affected by physical, economic, cultural and political factors relating to the study area. (2) To assess the relative importance of the above factors in the geography of the township. (3) To determine the relative importance of these factors in specific areas of the township.
