dc.description.abstractThe response of a rigid circular foundation resting on the surface of a cohesionless soil and which is subjected to a constant vertical vibrational force is analyzed experimentally. The response is compared to that predicted analytically. The contact pressure distribution on the foundation-soil interface is used as a means of comparison.en_US
