Abstract

This paper analyses the findings of a survey of the attitudes of management and employees towards reporting to employees. Even though there was considerable demand by employees for information on the operations and activities of their employer companies, this attitude was only shared by senior management. There was, however, agreement amongst the parties that the reasons why management would report to employees was to improve employer employee relationships, increase employee under standing and to demonstrate an open approach to management
