Title: DIVINE GRACE AND HUMAN FREEDOM

Keywords: God;Grace;Freedom;Sin;H. D. Lewis;Emil Brunner
Publication Date: 1964
Abstract: A contemporary statement of an old controversy is the subject of this thesis: here we are discussing the relationship between the activity of God’s grace and the excerise of man’s responsibility and freedom—as viewed from points of view not uncommonly contradictory, namely the viewpoint of the theologian and that of the moral philosopher. Hence, the main focus of this thesis is concentrated upon the writings of Dr. Emil Brunner, a theologian of considerable distinction, and Dr. H.D. Lewis, a moral philosopher of great renown.
