This is a study of land use in Crowland Township. The text is divided into seven chapters. In the first chapter, the location, size and shape of the township are discussed. The second chapter analyses and describes the physical environment of the area. The third chapter is a historical analysis of the evolution of land use in the township. Man’s adjustment to the environment has changed with the introduction of technological social, economic and cultural improvements in Crowland. The fourth, fifth and sixth chapters consider the present land use of the area in relation to the physical and historical background. The final chapter summarizes and concludes the study. The material presented in the text has been derived from a variety of sources. Any literature available, pertaining to the study area has been reviewed. Field work was conducted in both rural and urban areas.en_US
