The Sex Workers’ Action Program Hamilton (SWAP) advocates for the decriminalization and recognition of sex work, universal health access, and economic empowerment for sex workers. To support their advocacy efforts, SWAP commissioned a literature review from the McMaster Research Shop to synthesize recent scholarly research relating to sex workers’ experiences with police, healthcare access, and social exclusion. This report details the findings from our review, which focused on studies published after the implementation of 2014 federal end-demand legislation (PCEPA).en_US
