Abstract: This workshop provides an overview of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®), its requirements, judging criteria, and reviews case studies of successful competitors. Prepared for the winter 2023 session of ECE790 Graduate Seminars in Electrical & Computer Engineering, attendees are briefed on preparation and course scheduling, including meetings, coaching sessions, and the format of the final delivery of presentations via Zoom.
Description: This workshop was prepared and presented for the winter 2023 session of ECE790 Graduate Seminars in Electrical & Computer Engineering. Primary presenters were John Bandler, Nicholas Simard, and Tim Davidson, with featured guests Erin Kiley (MCLA), Megan Vierhout (McMaster), and Connor Rowe (INRS). The workshop was presented via Zoom at McMaster University, February 27, 2023.
