John Bandler founded Optimization Systems Associates (OSA) in 1983. In 1993, OSA offered three state-of-the-art software products to corporate customers. OSA’s products assisted engineers in design optimization of high-frequency and microwave devices, circuits and systems. OSA was the industry leader in parameter extraction, yield-driven optimization, electromagnetic optimization, and more. OSA90/hope is their general CAD software system offering simulation, modeling, statistical analysis, nominal and yield optimization, and data visualization for linear and nonlinear analog circuits. HarPE™ is their advanced, powerful and user-friendly integrated CAD system dedicated to complete nonlinear device characterization and single device circuit simulations and design optimizations. HarPE was introduced as the world's first software system offering parameter extraction from harmonic measurements. Empipe is OSA’s powerful and friendly software system for automated electromagnetic (EM) design optimization, driving Sonnet Software’s EM simulator em. Empipe can designate geometrical and material parameters as candidate variables for optimization in an intuitive and friendly manner.en_US
