Abstract: | Access Tech is a pilot program geared towards providing newcomer and marginalized families in Hamilton with tech devices (laptops, desktop computers, tablets, and others) and the digital literacy skills to use them. Empowerment Squared requested support from the McMaster Research Shop to evaluate the implementation of two aspects of the program: 1) a technology drive run in partnership with McMaster University’s Sustainability Office, and 2) digital literacy workshops provided by Empowerment Squared. |
