dc.description.abstract | This presentation was given at the 2012 LAMG (Library Assistants Map Group) Workshop held at the University of Waterloo. It reports on the success of a collaboration between McMaster University Library Maps, Data & GIS staff and the McMaster Centre for Leadership in Learning in a HEQCO (Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario) funded project. It is a response to the Ontario Government's "Drummond Report" and a growing body of literature supporting the concept of online modes of delivery for class instruction. "Blended Learning" modules were created for five separate McMaster courses in the following subject areas: human geography, environmental science, integrated science (iSci), and social science inquiry. | en_US |
