Title: Proton Resonance Study of the Water of Hydration in Natrolite
Authors: Cant, George Paul
Advisor: Petch, H. E.
Department: Physics
Keywords: nuclear magnetic resonance;Pake's theory;natrolite;proton
Publication Date: Jan-1963
Abstract: The nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum of the protons in the water of hydration in a single crystal of natrolite has been investigated and analysed according to Pake’s theory in order to locate the protons in the structure. The line shape of the proton resonance in natrolite powder was studied over a wide range of temperature. The observed changes in the line shape partially revealed the dynamics of the water of hydration.
