dc.description.abstract | In early 2015, a cross-functional team was established at McMaster University Libraries in response to the new Tri-Agency Open Access Policy on Publications. Tasked with revisioning the libraries' online open access support, the Open Access Working Group generated a web page with an interactive tool and succinct resource guide. Created using open source software and universal design principles, the web page and its contents target faculty and researchers in all disciplines. In this presentation, we will discuss how the Open Access Working Group collaborated to generate creative ideas for this interactive page and the process by which those ideas were shaped into fruition. We will also discuss the initial launch and promotion of this new online resource and reflect upon its impact on McMaster's research community. Join us for a demonstration of the interactive tool designed and tested to help faculty and researchers comply with the new Tri-Agency Policy. | en_US |
