| Abstract: | <p> This thesis presents a derivation of a method to obtain two-body, diagonal and non-diagonal, reaction matrix elements for central and tensor forces respectively directly from nucleon-nucleon scattering phase shifts. This procedure eliminates the necessity for constructing a nuclear potential.</p> |
