Anderson, J.B.
Department: Electrical Engineering
Keywords: tree coding, rate-distortion theory, analog signals, digital channels, speech waveforms
Publication Date: Apr-1974

Coding schemes are developed which yield improvements of up to six dB in signal-to-noise ratio over conventional techniques for the reproduction of speech waveforms.
