Abstract: | <p>The purpose of this dissertation will be as follows: to analyse the theme o f revolt as it is presented in seven of Jean Anouilh's plays -- namely, La Sauvage, Eurydice, L'Hermine, Le Voyageur sans bagage, L'Alouette, Becket ou L'Honneur de Dieu, Antigone, and to assess the dramatic value and importance of this theme in Anouilh's theatre.</p> |
