Abstract: <p>The purpose of this paper will be to analyse the motivating force of George Sand upon the life and works of Alfred de Musset during the years 1833 - 1835. Chapter I will examine the biographical aspects of their lives and Chapters II and III will relate the results of this analysis to the dramatic work of the author.</p>
