Authors: Zander, Eduard Mathias Peter
Advisor: Collet, P.
Department: French
Keywords: French and Francophone Language and Literature;French and Francophone Language and Literature
Publication Date: 1971
Abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to examine the development of the artist's personality and his reactions when confronted with both the reality of his talent and the realities of society. The process of artistic creation itself and the problems of understanding and communication that confront the artist will also be examined. Finally, some comment will be made about how Gabrielle Roy herself, as a creative person, has confronted some of the problems that have arisen in her own life.
