Rapid evidence profiles (REPs) address specific questions posed by decision-makers about urgent health- and social-system issues. They are prepared in hours or days and aim to provide an overview of the best available global research evidence (i.e., evidence syntheses) and local research evidence (i.e., single studies) as well as experiences from other countries and from Canadian provinces and territories, but do not provide insights based on an in-depth synthesis of available evidence documents and jurisdictional insights.
