Scheinel bat Seligman is mentioned. The daughter of Seligmann Gugenheimb was married to Asher (Lemble II) Weyl. After her husband's death she fought with her son-in-law over the estate.

Our sources - administrative and court records - very rarely mention women usually in regards to family linkages between men, around significant dowries, and dealing with estates. Occasionally widows continue their husbands' business, but they simply are recorded as "widow of ...". A few times women were fined for minor infractions.
